The Archives receives a good number of photographs in the course of a year. Fortunately, many of these photographs are labelled. However, there are some photographs that have no identifying information on them and as you can imagine, it’s not exactly helpful for a photograph to be described as “an unidentified group of people standing in front of an unidentified church.” That’s where some of you may be able to help!

Does anyone recognize the following church buildings? The first photograph is a Methodist Church but we just don’t know where this church would be. It’s most likely a meeting of a Methodist Conference judging by the lack of women in the photograph. The church building in the second photograph is not quite as distinct but here’s hoping someone will recognize those windows!

If you or someone you know is able to provide any further information about these photographs, you can contact Sarah at archives@marconf.ca

Thanks for your help!
