There, did that title catch your attention?
The Archives receives minutes in all forms. Loose, scribblers, fancy bound books, you name it. I always appreciate the older notebooks with fancy illustrated covers. Take for example, these notebooks, c. 1920s, which contained minutes from the Lakeville Corner Methodist/United Church Ladies Aid (Sheffield Pastoral Charge). Of course you can still purchase scribblers with pictures on the cover (Justin Beiber anyone?) but come on, you can’t get much better than a lizard skin motif!
We’ll start out with something a little patriotic.
This next one is for all you nature lovers out there.
And I saved the best for last! it’s labeled just in case you couldn’t identify the skin texture at first glance.
