Happy New Year everyone! This calendar and photograph is from Boiestown Methodist Church in New Brunswick. 1911 was a big year. The Ottawa Senators won the Stanley Cup; Ronald Reagan was born; Hiram Bingham was led by a local to the ruins of Machu Picchu; and Dominion Parks now known as Parks Canada is established. Of course this is just to name a few events! It will be interesting to see what 2016 will hold. I’m sure it will be no less exciting than 1911.
