We are a vibrant, progressive, emerging and modern ministry, one that thinks outside the box, one that is based on our United Church values, one that does not meet in the physical traditional church and one that looks towards the future and the needs of its people.

Our focus will be on being together, being an emerging ministry, showing love to all, being with One, nurturing faith and gathering in community. We hope you’ll join us when we’re in a city near you.

These experiences are planned for September 23rd in Halifax, October 1st in Saint John, October 14th in Riverview and November 4th in Charlottetown. They will include sharing in food, experiencing a dynamic, modern worship experience and building intentional community of faith.

4. Student Debt Research Survey

This is just a reminder that the Student Debt Survey will be coming down on September 5th. We have had a great response so far (we’ve had 235 people respond with a variety of experiences). But please circulate this week to anyone who may not have seen it yet.

This survey is an attempt to gather a realistic picture of the costs incurred by those who have pursued, are pursuing, and those considering pursing ministry in The United Church of Canada.

Please circulate amongst Ministry Personnel (especially those in the first 10 years of service), students, inquirers, and those who may have considered ministry. It should take less than 10 minutes to complete. We will be collecting surveys until September 5, 2016.

Thank you!
