6. Our Committees Need You!

Serving on a Conference committee is a great way to contribute to the work of the church. A new online form will help match potential volunteers with vacancies.

You will be asked your contact information, past experience, skills, and interests. You may express interest in one particular committee, or simply indicate “Willing to serve where needed.”

When a vacancy opens, a member of the Nominating Committee may contact you. Filling out the form is an expression of interest only – not a commitment. All members of conference and presbyteries are strongly encouraged to fill it out as soon as possible.

10. Lenten Calendar 2017

Lent is a time of year when one tries to live a little more soberly, inspired by the 40-day fast that Jesus did in the wilderness. At this moment in time when the work of God is threatened, Christians are invited to convert and change their behavior to reduce their footprint on Creation.

Would it be possible to promote this tool in your institution?

It is possible to download this calendar for FREE from the following webpage:    http://lent.greenchurches.ca

It is also possible to order a reasonably priced printed version in colour on 100% recycled paper. You can place your order before February 13, 2017:

The youngest will be able to share easily what they believe in thanks to the hashtags (#) on social media.
