A place of community and a place of faith – register for I@C and YF today! Join other United Church youth from across the Maritimes, the Gaspe, and Bermuda. I@C and YF take place during the Annual Meeting of Regions 14 & 15, which is a gathering of representatives who make decisions and set policies for the United Church of Canada. YF and I@C meet as two separate groups. Each group creates an inclusive, diverse and safe community of over a hundred youth in the name of Christ. Each provides a place for youth to explore their faith and to learn more about the United Church while sharing in music, worship and fun in a spirit-filled community.

8. New Appointment
It is with great pleasure that as Chair of the Board of Pine Hill Divinity Hall, I (Rev. Bonnie Fraser) am able to announce that the Executive of the Board approved the recommendation of the Search Committee to engage the Reverend Dr I. Ross Bartlett as Formation Director for United Church of Canada students at Atlantic School of Theology. Dr. Bartlett is currently fulfilling the role of Formation Director and his new term will begin immediately following completion of his present appointment.
Dr. Bartlett, who is adjunct faculty at AST, has been involved in education for ministry since the early 1990s at Queen’s Theological College, working both in-classroom and on-line as those technologies have expanded and developed. He has extensive experience with the various courts of the United Church of Canada, with which the Director must relate. His latest publication “Speaking Church; A New Vision for the Sub/Urban Congregation” will no doubt be a useful resource to students, educators and preachers. https://www.irossbartlett.com/
We wish to extend our thanks to the Search Committee for all their work and wish Rev Dr Bartlett much joy and reward during his time in this ministry.
9. Erskine United Church
De-commissioning Service for Erskine United Church, Glenholme, NS (within the Upper Londonderry Pastoral Charge) on Sunday Feb 24, 2019 at 2 pm….The building, property and contents have been sold and transferring to Covenanting Reform Presbyterian Church.
10.Volunteer Food Safety Certificate Presentations (PEI)
Non-profit organizations and/or service clubs are required to have at least one organizer or volunteer present during food preparation who has completed the Food Safety Training or has a Certificate of Attendance from the Volunteer Food Safety Presentation offered by Environmental Health.
