In our newly centralized vocational system, it is critical that clergy have representation and support. The Steering Committee has done some preliminary work (click here to view material). Now they need your guidance, input and participation. Also, clergy want to have fun, so there will be food and a pub night. Please register by clicking here so your Association of Ministers Committee can make arrangements.

The Office of Vocation is offering this one day workshop that will help participants learn to understand the importance of boundaries in our work and in our personal lives. Participants will explore some of the common boundary issues that can emerge in the practice of ministry, and discuss how to expand our repertoire of strategies for dealing with situations that can require careful judgment. The course will be an opportunity to discuss best practices with others in church leadership across the regions; find out how others cope with complicated boundary issues; and reflect on how to ensure that the church continues to be a safe and hospitable place for everyone. This course meets the requirements for mandatory training in the Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Response Policy for Ministry Personnel and Licensed Lay Worship Leaders.
Leadership: Rev. Dr. Andrew Richardson: Minister for the Office of Vocation (Atlantic)
Rev. Annika Sangster: Minister at St. Luke’s United Church and Coordinator for the Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Response Policy for St. Lawrence Dawning Waters and Region 15.
Andrew and Annika are trained in Healthy Boundaries by the Faith Trust Institute
