the Rev. Lloyd Bruce BA MDiv
Phone: (506) 940-1151
Thanks to the foresight and generosity of the former congregation of Wesley Memorial United Church and the Mission and Service Fund of the United Church of Canada part-time hospital Chaplaincy is provided at the George Dumont Hospital and the Moncton City Hospital.
Fundy St. Lawrence Dawning Waters Regional Council has engaged the Rev. Lloyd Bruce to provides six hours of chaplaincy presence between the two hospitals each week. Lloyd normally visits the hospitals on Monday and Friday and is available to respond to pastoral emergencies on an as needed basis. Lloyd seeks to be especially attentive to the needs of those from outside of the Greater Moncton area that may be at one of the city hospitals for tests or treatments.
Please note, that as a result of the requirement for the hospital to protect the privacy of patients Chaplains only received the names of those who request a visit from the Chaplain. Patients can make a request to have the Chaplain visit them through any of the nursing staff or one of the many pastoral volunteers that seek to make initial contact with newly arrived patients. Of course patients may contact Lloyd directly by email firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone (506) 940-1151.
