January 13, 2020 – Rev. Faith March-MacCuish, Executive Minister, today announced that Rev. Catherine Stuart has accepted the position of Minister of Children, Youth and Young Adults, serving the Fundy St. Lawrence Dawning Waters Regional Council, Regional Council 15 and First Dawn Eastern Edge Regional Council, effective March 1, 2020.
Rev. Stuart brings significant experience with children, youth and young adults to this position, including leadership and budgetary roles with Youth at Conference (formerly Maritime Conference) and General Council Youth Forum. Throughout her ministry, Rev. Stuart has worked to develop youth programming, facilitated youth groups, Sunday school programs, promoted camp programs, served camp boards and served as camp chaplain. Rev. Stuart is particularly passionate about developing programming that brings children, youth and young adults together to discern how the spirit is calling us forward as the church.
