1. To meet legal obligations of the Region for property maintenance, including insurance coverage, property repairs, legal expenses for property registration, transfer or sale, and other reasonable costs to protect the property for church usage.
  2. To engage a professional advisor to assist with the retirement and demolition of surplus buildings and properties that are not saleable given their current unsatisfactory state. The advice includes identification of hazardous materials, mitigation and demolition program design based upon the hazardous materials assessment.
