Condolences are extended to to the family of Rev. Capt. (Ret’d) William “Bill” Roderick MacLennan (RC15) who passed away on September 5, 2021. The obituary can be viewed here.

Condolences are extended to the family of Rev. Prescott Burrill who passed away on April 18, 2022. Rev. Burrill was ordained in Maritime Conference and served pastorates in Nova Scotia. The obituary can be viewed here.
Covenanting Service between Rev. Heather Ferrier, Mahone Bay and Blue Rocks Pastoral Charges and Regional Council 15
A covenanting service will be held 2pm Sunday June 12th at Trinity United Church, Mahone Bay, to celebrate the calling of the Rev. Heather Ferrier to serve the Pastoral Charges of Mahone Bay and Blue Rocks. Our guest preacher will be the Rev. Dr. Rob Fennell. We invite our neighbours to join us for this special service and the refreshments that will follow.

An Event for Those who Love Rural Congregations: Rural Routes Through the Holy: Thrive Where You Are
From June 16 – 18, 2022, we’ll gather at CampTa Wa Si, Johnston Point, NB for a time full of worship, learning, conversation, resources and good food, to enliven and nurture the life of rural congregations. (Proof of vaccination is required). Dr. Marvin Lee Anderson will be our main speaker and Rural Café facilitator but others will also be on hand to offer ‘tasters’, small presentations on things that they’ve tried and loved. Need for Head Chef – Berwick Camp 2022
The United Church Camp Meeting Association, (Berwick Camp ) is looking for a head chef, from July 27th -August 7th. Meals begin on Friday July 27 with the supper meal, then three meals per day-breakfast, dinner, supper, from July 28th to August 6th, two meals on Sunday, August 7th-breakfast and dinner. Each day will begin by 7 a.m. and conclude with the evening meal by 6-6:30 p.m.
The head chef will work in cooperation with and direct four paid staff—a baker (already arranged) a support chef and two other workers to prepare, cook and have meals ready to serve, plus cleanup each day. There is also a need to fill the three positions, not including the baker. The head chef will work with the Food Services managers to prepare a menu by the end of June for these meals. Volunteers will assist with some food preparation and serving of meals to the dining hall staff who will serve the tables. Other youth volunteers will do clean up of dishes and cutlery after each meal.
