Participants Needed for DMin Research on Clergy Mental Health
We are not alone. But sometimes ministry can feel awfully lonely.
For the past two years, I (Rev. Kathleen Anderson) have been working toward a DMin, with a focus on clergy mental health. I am interested in how clergy think, talk, and act around their own experiences of mental health and illness, how mental health affects ministry, and how ministry affects mental health. While I have my own story, one story is not enough to generate meaningful recommendations, nor is it enough to shape policies and practices.
Ethics approval for this study was granted at the end of May by the DMin Committee of the Saskatoon Theological Union. This means that I can now start what I consider the most important part of my research – actually hearing from clergy. The first part of that most important research comes in the form of an anonymous online survey. For those so inclined, interest in a follow-up conversation can be indicated at the end of the survey.
To participate in the survey (available until July 15), go to:

Lepreau Licence Renewal – How Many Years will it be – 25, 20, 10, 5?
Check out a report ‘window’ on the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission 3 days of public hearings on NB Power’s application for renewal of Point Lepreau Nuclear Power Station. Much of all three Atlantic provinces fall within the IAEA’s recommended “Ingestion Planning Zone”. Where are you situated? https://crednb.ca/2022/05/28/report-the-point-lepreau-nuclear-reactor-licence-renewal-hearings
