To love and serve others …
“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22) Pray to be shown how to practice these gifts in daily life.
Pray for the life and work of these Pastoral Charges:
Great Village, Truro Presbytery
St. Paul’s, Spryfield, Halifax Presbytery
Lower Musquodoboit, Truro Presbytery
Nashwaak, Woolastook Presbytery
Mahone Bay, South Shore Presbytery
Newcastle, Miramichi Presbytery
Centreville, Woolastook Presbytery
Charlottetown: Park Royal, Prince Edward Island Presbytery
Mapleton, Chignecto Presbytery
May we, with them, be witnesses to God’s truth, love and justice inside the church and beyond its walls.
Let us pray for the South Shore Presbytery, its Chairperson, Executive, and members. May the business of the Court, and the work of its committees, be rooted in words that proclaim God’s inclusive love, works that bring forth God’s powerful justice, and worship that rejoices in God’s wondrous presence.
Let us pray for Local Food Banks and all who work in them and are served by them. May we witness against hunger and persist in our hope for a world where every child is fed.
For Prayerful Reflection: What do you hear Jesus saying to you when you pray the words, “Take care of him and what ever more you spend, I will repay you when I come back.”
