Inverness – Guysborough Presbytery has strong Methodist and Presbyterian roots.

The name of James MacGregor is associated with the work of the Presbyterian Church in Cape Breton, as well as in Pictou. A strong legacy of solid preaching and careful pastoral care has come down through the years.
