Woolastook Presbytery

Woolastook Presbytery is, alphabetically, at the end of the Conference’s list of Presbyteries, and is, geographically, one of the largest, spreading throughout a large part of the length of the St. John River. The Presbytery derives its name from the Maliseet name for the St. John River.

Historically, we have strong Congregational, Methodist, and Presbyterian roots in the make-up of our church history.

The Woolastook Presbytery takes in the Upper Saint John River Valley area of New Brunswick from the Grand Lake area to the Quebec Border. Woolastook Presbytery has its own Web Site.  Woolastook Presbytery has 30 Pastoral Charges.
