Building Bridges Through Understanding the Village© is a powerful participatory experience that illustrates the ripple effects that the impacts of residential schools and centralization had and continue to have on Indigenous families, communities, and wider society and calls us back to strong community values. It is a valuable teaching tool for social workers, university staff and students, clergy, church leaders, really anyone who seeks to have a deeper understanding of the wide reaching issues affecting indigenous people in our area.
