Some of you may remember an earlier post I did about some doodles on a treasurer’s book from York Methodist Circuit in PEI (click here to see that post again). Well, it turns out that kids all over the place are tempted to liven up boring financial documents. These drawings were found in a subscriptions account book from New Annan Presbyterian Church in Nova Scotia for the years 1864-1882. It looks like the children responsible for the artwork were part of David Langille’s family, perhaps he was the treasurer? In any case, enjoy!
