60th Anniversary Committee
Theme: Continuing in Hope
What: The 60th Anniversary of the United Church Women is this year (2022) and we are celebrating!
Where: Camp Emmanuel
When: September 16-17-18, 2022.
Your organizing committee has been hard at work for a while, and we are planning a great weekend Gathering, drawing together United Church Women from across Newfoundland and Labrador.
There will be the three F’s (food, fun, and fellowship) plus activities, worship, Bible study, guest speakers, book sale table, and entertainment.
Plan to make and wear a crazy hat on Friday night and on Saturday night the weirdest pajamas you can find! If you are musically inclined bring an instrument. There will be an opportunity for you to show off your acting abilities in a time for skits, etc.
A silent auction is planned so we would like a few items for this. If you would like to contribute, please bring an item for auction with you.
Boutique: Whoever wishes may bring an item for this table. The only stipulation put on this is that it is not a white elephant table. Everyone has an unwanted, unused gift and can donate it for the table.
Each local is asked to bring a banner for our banner parade.
Registration forms will follow as soon as is possible.
