What we do:
Members of the Outdoor Recreational Ministry Unit . . .
- Visit the camps in session each summer and communicate with the Camp Board
- Provide leadership for Camp STUFF – a staff training event for counselors and Board members
- Provide leadership and resources for the Curriculum Workshop
- Network with the camps sharing good ideas and information related to camping ministry
- Explore ways to support Christian Education in the Camps
- Provide a link with the National Camping Association and offer information on Camping Standards and Accreditation
