Inspire people with the intentional invitation to say “thank you”. Invite people in your community of faith to look for more opportunities to say “Thank you”, and invite them to extend that invitation at their family and friends gatherings. Create a thank you domino or ripple effect. Though they are two simple words, sometimes they get forgotten. Thank you to those who put together this newsletter. Thank you to all who read it. Thank you for ideas that inspire people to consider new things. Offering thanks makes both the giver and the receiver feel good. Explore who likely gets little thanks for what they do and be the one to acknowledge them with your thank you. Make thanks personal. Perhaps you send a form letter of thanks to givers, or do a general thanks to people after events. Can that be bumped up to a personal call, or note of thanks. Let’s keep supporting and encouraging each other with generosity, gratitude, and thanks.
