Covenanting service for Rev. Gerald Kerr with Milford Gays River Lantz Pastoral Charge and Regional Council 15
A Covenanting service will be taking place for the Rev. Gerald Kerr in the Faith Community of Milford Gays River Lantz. The Service will be on Feb 23, 2020 at the Milford Lantz Church in Milford, Nova Scotia at 2:00PM. All are welcome.

Intermediates at Conference (I@C) is our program tailored to middle school and junior high age participants. Our theme this year is “Building Community” and we have some amazing adventures, games, talks and so much more planned for you! The Clifton Pastoral Charge, consisting of communities represented by the Old Barns and Hilden United Churches, is looking for a full-time Minister to help lead us in our journey of faith. We are an affirming pastoral charge which strives to be a friendly, welcoming and safe environment in support of spiritual growth. Both congregations, consisting of active and engaged volunteers, are seeking leadership in our efforts to re-focus, rejuvenate and re-energize. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on worship and pastoral care and will bring enthusiasm, energy and inspiration to the congregations and families within the communities in which the charge represents. Community Project Grant
Gambling Awareness Nova Scotia (GANS) is inviting applications for its Community Project Grant. The objective of this program is to provide one-year project funding to address unmet needs and gaps in services, awareness and/or knowledge within a framework of preventing or reducing gambling-related harm among individuals, families and communities in Nova Scotia. United-in-Worship Project website
The United-in-Worship Project website is now up and running and providing Worship Resource materials for Communities of Faith without paid accountable leadership or trained laity. The resources are available by annual subscription for the cost of 1 pulpit supply at $216.00 providing weekly worship services including: Order of Service, Digital version of the Order of Service (PowerPoint), Text of an original sermon, Video version presented by its author. Both projects are joint projects of St. John’s United Church, Marathon, ON and the Canadian Shield Regional Council. The Online Training is hosted by United-in-Learning. More details here.
