Interested in Pastoral Relations?
Region 15 has need of additional Liaisons to support and facilitate the work of Pastoral Relations. Liaisons offer training and guidance with local committees to prepare Profile materials and position descriptions, and to Search for ministry personnel to serve in ministry in local settings. Both lay members and ministry personnel are eligible to serve as Liaisons. Training sessions will be held in January by Zoom. If you are interested in receiving the training and discerning your Call to the role of Liaison, please contact Regional Minister David Hewitt firstname.lastname@example.org

NB Power Applies for a 25 Year Licence for Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station
The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) will hold public hearings on NB Power’s application for an unprecedented 25 year licence renewal to operate Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station, beginning with Part 1 on January 26 2022. The Coalition for Responsible Energy Development -New Brunswick (CRED-NB) and the Canadian Environmental Law Association (CELA) have received funding to make a joint intervention in Part 2 hearings on May 4and 5, 2022.
