Intergenerational Conversations invite people of all ages to learn with one another in engaging and meaningful ways. Strengthen belonging. Deepen relationships, and enrich faith by bringing together lived experience, curiosity, and hope across ages and stages of life. Invite people to discuss “big questions”, respond to articles, videos, podcasts, scripture, sermons and local priorities. Develop prayer partners or prayer circles. Share spiritual practices.

Are confirmation classes being held in your pastoral charge soon? Consider offering combined youth and adult classes. Partner confirmands with another member of the congregation. Invite anyone in the congregation who might wish to participate to join in. Connect with other local churches, within our denomination or ecumenical, in the area to create a fuller experience and provide co-facilitation with other leaders. To explore these ideas or to reflect on what might fit your context, please contact me, Sharon Ballantyne, growth animator, at 506-306-0500 or by email at sballantyne@united-church.ca You are also invited to a virtual 30-minute drop-in conversation each Wednesday morning, beginning at 9:45 a.m. Atlantic (10:15 a.m. Newfoundland and Labrador).
