When you do your celebrations moment, a glimmer or God moment time of sharing, consider how you can make it more invitational by including a part that invites/reminds people to invite others to come to events happening this week/month. Consider teasers, such as inviting people to think about who might be interested in conversation for this week’s Bible Study, book talk, service outreach, the focus for next week’s service. Be intentional to get the congregation accustomed to thinking about who they know to come share in an experience! Additionally, or alternatively consider the wording of your announcements, can you make them more intentional to make people think about who to invite. Consider one minute video invites for social media, links in your midweek newsletters. Have event reminders ready for people to take with them, quarter page reminder slips, or book mark reminders or other form of take-away prompts.
