Growth Ideas 101: Sharing Festive Fun (December 10, 2025)

From the well-practiced cantatas to the impromptu last-minute gathering for coffee, we are connecting and building relationships. Maybe you are doing some of these, or versions of them, have some great and creative ideas, beloved traditional projects or new to you initiatives, like: Breakfasts with Santa, Fa-la-la and Fa-lala awful, or awe-ful, or fabulous, nativa-tea, Creche party, manger mania, Traveling Nativity, moonlight madness bake sale, Book bag brilliance, Baby Shower for Jesus, Christmas cookies and crafts, Advent-ure event, Prayer walks, Pause for Paws, Christmas Cheer and on the list goes. Whether you decide to do some carol sings before or after worship, or tell people to show up for a spontaneous bring what you have potluck, keep inviting people to come together inside your community of faith and outside. Letting go of being too busy, too lonely, too tired or too sad, you can brighten the day of another. Too many treats, revive “porch drops” and leave a gift of caring at the homes of neighbours. What’s on deck for after Christmas? ringing in the New Year? Comfy Cozy PJ Day? Leftovers lunch? Breakfast potluck? New Year stars? Epiphany events? beating the winter blahs activities?
