While in search of some other photographs, I stumbled across these delightful photos from Harvey, N.B. It appears as if Harvey United Church had decided to celebrate Children’s Day in 1929. Note the lovely blossoms on the tree beside the children (I can almost smell those blossoms) as well as the boutonnaires and bow ties on the dapper young men. Looks like it was a full house if the cars parked in front of the church are any indication.
