RC15 Mission Support Announcement

Dear Members of Regional Council 15,

A good news story and a testament to faith and hope. In the midst of a very difficult two years, our Region’s contribution to the Mission and Service Fund has only had a small drop, so we have been holding our own. In the 2020 year we raised $1,183,328 and the contribution for 2021 was $1,146,514.00. Well Done! The ministries that you have provided through your givings will continue to be felt by so many locally and globally. Thank you, thank you, a Good News story indeed!

Mileage Rate

At the October 7, 2022 meeting of the Financial Accountability & Investment Committee, the mileage rate for regional related travel was approved to remain at 35 (thirty-five) cents per kilometer until December 31, 2022. Please note that this rate is for the volunteer work of the Region and does not pertain to the Pastoral Charge Supervision Policy.

2023 Salary Schedule Updated

The 2023 Ministry Personnel Salary Schedule was posted to the General Council website last week. However, a message from General Council was received on Friday:

“I offer you an update regarding the 2023 Salary Schedule. We were alerted to a discrepancy by Stats Can in their COLA figure that they have corrected since we initially posted the new schedule. Please note that we have updated our schedule as a result of StatsCan’s issuing of the corrected COLA (3.4%). The updated salary schedule is live on the websites and and the ROCA in ChurchHub has been updated as well.”
