Condolences: Glenn Estabrooks
Our sympathy is extended to the Rev. Susan Estabrooks, and family, whose father Glenn Estabrooks passed away February 9, 2021. A copy of the obituary can be viewed here.
Pastoral Charge Information Form
The 2021 Pastoral Charge Information Form can be found on our Regional Council website under forms.
If you have had your annual congregational meeting and have elected your governing body for 2021, please click on the below link to complete. If you have not had your annual meeting, and have the same people serving in the governing body, we kindly ask you to still fill out the information forms.
As a reminder please also email your annual reports to the Regional office. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to be in contact with the Regional Council Office.
Videos in Support of Lent
Since the pandemic began, United Churches for Dartmouth, a cluster of Region 15 has been producing videos to reach out to people of all ages. With Lent/Easter Season approaching we have gathered together some of our recent resources as well as ones produced last year that you may may helpful in your Worship Services or to support your Sunday School (see attached pdf). The Bible readings feature stories told usually through the use of LEGO. The Kids’ Corner videos associated with them have a before/after part to provide introduction or context, some explanation and a prayer. We invite you to check out our other offerings. On Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, Spiritual Reflections are posted on the United Churches for Dartmouth Facebook site at 6pm. On Tuesday mornings, Kids ‘Corner videos features a craft; on Thursday mornings, a meditation; and on Saturday, mornings a story. Ukulele Church
Are you looking for a meaningful and musical way to observe Lent? Have you ever wanted to go to church with a Ukulele in your hands? Cross Country Prayer for Lent
The Faith Formation Group of General Council would like to offer support for the ministry personnel in our region this Lenten season on Tuesday February 23, with supportive prayer and an opportunity to connect with colleagues within your regions. Those who gather will hear and/or name all of the ministry personnel in First Dawn Eastern Edge, Region 15, Fundy St. Lawrence Dawning Waters. it will be a moment of caring for those hear their names, and an opportunity for the spiritual care givers to engage in mutual care through prayer for one another. Lenten Climate Crisis Book Study
Offered by the Anglican Diocesan Environmental Network United Church people are welcome to join this very relevant book study. The Papal Encyclical Laudato Si (Praise be to you, my Lord) is an incredibly important and visionary book on Christian faith and the climate crisis. The study is an opportunity to learn its teachings and its urgent message.
