Growth and Stewardship Ideas: Small Group Check-ins (September 9, 2026)

Your community of faith has a growth mindset, is interested in growing, strengthening invitation and people are being intentional to try new things to create an invite culture. Support one another with regular check-ins like a monthly, bi-weekly or weekly small group gathering after worship or midweek, whatever makes sense in your context, to discuss how it’s going, share experiences. Listen for stories that inspire you, affirm your faith and reflect those experiences of why your faith is important to you. Invite people to share these experiences with the whole congregation – a moment of thanks, a storytelling moment, a short video clip, or some other engagement of invitation to people to share a moment of inspiring hope. Don’t be shy to share about growth, strengthening invitation efforts, stewardship practices and developing discipleship. People are encouraged to learn what other people are doing, interested in, passionate about. Small groups to talk about our efforts helps us be encouraged by what is working, help each other when we are stuck, or having concerns. What are you trying? Meet with a small group regularly to check in, to try new things and have a prayerful sounding board. Develop regular habits, practices and routines. what small groups might your community of faith find helpful?
