Neurodiversity Zoom Webinar Oct 20, 7 pm. Hosted by FSLDW Affirm Committee
Neurodiversity Webinar: This webinar is one in a series of education events in which we affirm and honour the gifts and presence of a diverse humanity.
This webinar introduces the idea of TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) as one way of being neurodiverse and how an awareness of TBI can lead to the beginnings of intercultural inclusiveness in our communities of faith. Intersectionality will also be discussed and New Brunswick’s particular challenge in meeting this need.
Resource person: The Rev. Shelley Pick is a volunteer chaplain and community educator with Brain Injury Nova Scotia. She has lived with a brain injury since 2007 and feels passionately about helping brain injury survivors understand and navigate their lives post injury.

Advent Resource: Navigating Mystery
Advent Resources available now: Martin Shaw wondered: What if we re-framed “living with uncertainty” into a practice of “navigating mystery?”
This question evoked a new Prayer Bench Resource.
Navigating Mystery includes:
a small group study guide,
a second guide for personal study or retreat
and a bonus guide for planning an All-Ages Advent event.
All three are bundled together in Navigating Mystery, or you can buy the All Ages planning guide separately: All Creation Sings.
Here is a sample of Navigating Mystery.
