Executive Minutes

The draft minutes of the May 31, 2023 meeting of the Executive are now available on the website.

Hello from FSLDW President Elizabeth

Thanks to modern technology, this past weekend I was able to be in several places at the same time.

While leading worship at Portland United in Saint John, through a pre-recorded video, on your behalf I was able to bring greetings to Rev. Eunkyu Ji and the St. Andrews’s Congregation in Miramichi, NB as they celebrated their covenanting service. I understand it was a wonderful several hour event.

Through another pre-recorded video, on your behalf I was also able to bring greetings to Rev. Franklyn James and West River United Church in Cornwall, PEI. as they celebrated new beginnings in an evening covenanting service.

Through the gift of that Pentecost Spirit new beginnings are happening across our Region. There is a Spirit in the air as Communities of Faith go forward in Hope and formalize their relationships and commitment to God and one another with Spirit filled worship, great music and good food.

For that may we all give thanks.

Elizabeth Stevenson
President, Fundy St. Lawrence Dawning Waters Region.

Advocacy Works!

This past week, the Atlantic Mayors passed this resolution 26 to 4. Thanks for your advocacy for Guaranteed Liveable Income in Canada.  Each step matters.
